Dru Heintz - Owner
Dru has been in the construction industry most of his life. He started by working for his dad who has owned a plumbing company since he was about 12 years old. He’s ran remodel jobs, worked for remodel companies, an eventually worked for a national home builder for the last 5 years. After that, Dru decided to start his own company. He didn’t like the way home builders treated the customers and also the quality of homes they were mass producing. To Dru, a home should be really well built and something that can stand the test of time, without breaking the bank, and have all the amenities and things you want without going over budget. Dru’s passion is building homes from the ground up, and he will do so while helping you find what works best with your price point, to have a more comfortable, energy efficient home that can stand the test of time for a comfortable living for you and your family!

JAYCE PEDRO
Jayce grew up in St. Paul Minnesota and moved to Iowa in 2018 with his wife Ali to attend Iowa state university. Jayce began his real estate career while attending Iowa state university and after falling in love with helping people achieve their goals of buying, selling, and investing in real estate he knew this was the career for him. Jayce and Jake met at the Remax office in Ames and founded the Quartz Team Realty together in 2018. When Jayce isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his daughter and wife. Jayce also enjoys fishing and hunting with his friends and enjoying the Iowa outdoors.
JAKE ESCHER
Jake was born and raised in central Iowa. Outside of real estate he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, being involved in the church, staying fit, and writing. He started in the real estate business at just 20 years old and has loved it ever since. Watching the team grow and seeing all of the progress has been the most enjoyable aspect for him. He resides in Clive and is very active in the community.
MARGARITA SCHULTZ
MaeJune & Co is a local interior design company, that is ran and operated by Margarita Schultz, from Des Moines, IA. The company’s name is derived by her daughter’s, Saylor Mae and Sophia June. Prior to Margarita opening her own design services to the public in 2023, she has spent the last 10 years building her knowledge and experience by self-teaching, researching and remodeling her own homes, as well as providing services to friends and family. Margarita’s company, MaeJune & Co, is most known for their e-design services and in-person transformations. They specialize in adding character and personalization into their client’s home designs, along with valuing the importance of both beauty and functionality in a space.
ASHLEY PUDENZ
Ashley Pudenz owns AP Home Designs, a local design & drafting company based in the Des Moines area. After Graduating from Iowa State University in interior design, Ashley worked for Workspace and Hubbell Homes where she designed commercial interiors and drafted residential home plans. In 2021, Ashley started AP Home Designs and it has grown quickly. Her portfolio is vast with over 130 projects completed in 15 states, servicing clients, builders, and several large social media influencers. She specializes in traditional residential construction but also loves the challenge of postframe and remodel projects. Her husband grew up on a farm in Iowa and they have three vibrant and lovely daughters.
DEREK HARJES
With over 18 years of expertise in mortgage loan origination, Derek has a proven track record of success. Recognized as a consistent top performer for Land Home’s elite president’s club, having earned the #1 top producer spot from 2019 to 2023, and earning the distinction of being one of the top 10 preferred lenders in the state for the Iowa finance authority from 2020 to 2023. He takes pride in building trust and transparency with both the agents he works with and the customers he services. His commitment to excellence allows him to approach everything with a fresh perspective and out of-the-box thinking.
Michael Taylor
Michael is proud to be part of AP Home Designs, where they specialize in delivering quality and personalized residential architectural solutions. His passion for design was sparked when he designed his first home. He found himself immediately captivated by the process of crafting floor plans tailored to different individuals and their unique needs. Studying the works of the greatest architects in the world, he delved into understanding how they curated spaces that hold deeper significance for their inhabitants. AP Home Designs gives him the opportunity to get to know clients and work hand in hand with them to produce a home that fulfills their needs.
